Well if you thought the Nikon Nikkor 6mm f/2.8 fisheye lens with its more than 180° field of view was the ultimate when it comes to fisheye lenses then wait till you see this one. A supercool yet crazy lens is being developed for Micro Four Thirds users, which will leave the Nikkor 6mm far behind. This Micro Four Thirds fisheye lens is called the Entaniya 250 Fisheye MFT and it boasts of an utterly crazy field of view of more than 250° – which means the lens can see what lies behind it quite easily.
Entaniya 250 Fisheye MFT is still in development and will come in three focal lengths – a 2.3mm f/2.8, a 3.0mm f/2.8, and a 3.6mm f/4.0. According to the website of this lens, the expected price of the Entaniya 250 Fisheye MFT would be ¥388,000 JPY, which translates roughly into $3500 USD. Shipping of the lens will probably start by the end of this year.
